Welcome!

I am an escapist by nature and a Truth Seeker by calling. This is why I read and write fiction.

Fiction mirrors truth. This phrase invokes much of who I am and why I am this way: my life is enriched by fiction--my heart is challenged and changed by Truth.

My bookshelf is a collection of diversity. While the classics of Milton, Shakespeare, Austen, Coleridge, and Lewis each hold a place of honor, they share space with more modern heroes of prose like Tosca Lee, J.K. Rowling, Kristen Heitzmann, and Stephen King. Throughout my home titles by Christian authors snuggle up next to books which have been banned or burned by religious nutballs. That's just who I am. Deal. Fiction MIRRORS truth, boys and girls; and sometimes the truth is ugly... or illumines our own ugliness.

Often subtle, and sometimes sweet, Truth can be harsh and painful to digest; yet it is the human experience of seeking which exposes our need for something more--something beyond the limits of our own world.

This is me. Without a mask. Reading and writing fiction. Learning the craft, pursuing excellence..
